Deconstruction

Same beach
Same place
Same hour
Same empty soul

Just thinking to people who hate me
Just thinking to people who don't think to me
Just thinking to unfinished work

Dreaming of random encounters while sun is burning my skin
Smiling at kids playing in water, searching crabs
Trying to write some meaningful words on the Moleskine

A gecko tatoo on anonymous leg, sunglasses, kitchy swimming suit
Beautiful people here, impolite people there
Discussions without object, just for fun
Smiles lost on horizon
Stones, salt, wind, cold water
Faces as masks
Masks as faces
Retorse nostalgia
Warm, much too warm
Lost time
Cigarettes
Sun

Melting in the rock, fusioning until becoming invisible, hollow
Arm on my eyes, artificial night, not enough, not enough
From a trap to another, I never learn
Drowning into the light
Quietly evaporating in non-sense
Cold laughings in background.

As usual.

Strong poem Lau. Great images. I could imagine everything you said, exactly...
You end it by saying "As Usual"... You are the same Laurent, only in a different surrounding. Geography doesn't change who we are. Only we can change who we are. Only we can decide to take that first step.

And even if you are "As Usual" that is great. You are an amazing human being and I personally think that your "usual" is better than almost everybodys.

I don't know if it is a poem but I'm glad to know that it's a little bit evocative.

I decided some time ago to make the first step...

But I can assure you that it's very very much "as usual", Lali.

I think it's poetic prose. (Poemos come in all shapes and sizes...)

The first step is the hardest Lau... I know because I am in the process of taking mine...

(Not to worry, the Lala Society is with you! jejeje!)

Soon, very soon, you will think to people who love you and who think to you.

I'm not so sure there are so many people who love me, Kitty. Perhaps some of them are thinking to me, yes...
